The house is 5 years old, and I'm paying 400 per month. The house I'm living in is much bigger than the one in the picture you posted. 500 pounds per month for a two bedroom house is ridiculously expensive. It's no wonder some people don't want to buy or rent properties over here anymore! It's just getting out of hand, if you ask me. The rent and cost of property is just too high when considering the cost of living, and the very low wages.
Welcome to in joining the EU. The cost of housing and the standard of living to average GC will get worse as other EU state member sell and move to Cyprus, who are able to buy cheaper than the property they have sold in their own EU country, and with the rest of the money in the bank to live off, will put many Cypriots at a disadvantage, as long as the "slave wages" are tolerated, and worse, by importing "slave labour" from abroad. Good luck.!!
