The spreading of fear.

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby cypezokyli » Sat Jul 15, 2006 11:50 pm

in this last year in germany i met with some greeks who at their old university where members of KNE or NAP. they used to say that going through KNE is a great school. it is true. in my discussions with them , i learned a lot. above all i take advantage of the situation to improve my discussion techniques. because....besides that, never is a discussion constractive , bc half of the time is wasted , on :
- thats not what i said
- then what did you say ?
- no, you tell me what i said
-...
and this thing , can go for hours
in this way , you are never wrong, but you also never reach a conclusion.

so the question as i see it is : do we want a constractive dialogue or not ?

Now, after 2 1/2 after the failed Annan Plan, you have no reduction in the Turkish Forces, still remaining at 40,000, and you were concerned it was going to take this long to reduce most of the forces, but could not afford to wait and did not feel secure.!!! How secure do you feel now ????

More secure than the Anan Plan solution. No settlers moving around and stealing, no Turkish army to attack me legally, and no wiping off of my properties

ofcource you can feel any way you want
BUT
1. your comments about the settlers is at least racist. we have a problem with the settlers , not because the people are common criminals , but bc we consider it as a tactic from turkey to change the democraphics of the island. two different things.

2. could you refer us to the the exact passage of the AP that legalised the turkish army to attack you ? before is was , it legalised ,for a certain period of time , their stay - now it has become "attacking"

3. its true , especially the last 2.5 years our properties are safer and safer.

Yes.

Now please continue your "constructive" dialogue.
Ts, ts, ts, ts….

Here’s another way to make a constructive dialoque:

Kikapu,

You took from me 1 dollar.
If you give me back 2 cents I am a lot better than before amn’t I?
FYI this was the logic of the Anan Plan. And this was the logic behind your question.

Sorry, I don’t buy.

Cypezokyli,

Go ask some TCs if they can sleep at night leaving their windows open, and who exactly robs everyday.

Yes our properties are being sold illegally. Can't you see the difference between selling illegally stolen property and selling it legally because someone was deprived 2/3rds of it?
If you can't surely you must have voted YES to the Anan Plan.

Not everybbody was that naive though.

We don’t have a problem waiting while at the same time dancing both you and your motherland up in the EU.
Enjoy our waiting for as long as you like.
