How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

similarities to iraq

If you are able to watch this news report on bbc about 40 massacred sunni's today , do you think there are parallels? baghdad is dividing more and more - distrust and hatred of each other has set in, tit for tat killings common place...USA and UK interests in the background....

I wouldn't say I know everything about Iraq, however I believe there are several similarities with Cyprus.

Divide and rule is a kind of policy that has been applied in the past, and continues to be applied today. Cyprus was not the first and will not be the last victim of such policies.

PIRATIS , GET A HOLD OF YOURSELF.
There is not one iota of similarity between the barbarian savages who blow them selves up in markets , outside Mosques in weddings and funerals and Cyprus. THESE people are primitive savages. How dare any one compare these sadistic , perverted beasts with Cyprus .

still it's sectarian violence - intercommunal strife....they were living side by side - now they're moving further apart, what happens next? remember it's not just al-qaeda that's having a pop at people over there. they're fighting amongst themselves...

miltiades, they are not very different from us. Don't forget that Cypriots in the 60s were on average much less educated than today, probably something like Iraqis are now.

I am not saying that the 2 cases are the same, but some similarities exist.

Can you honestly imagine any serious political analyst drawing comparisons ?
Its just too ridiculous for words to even contemplate further procrastination .
