Last night on RIK (programme Biz-εμείς) three Turkish Cypriots spoke on this subject. They all condemned the "celebrations" and one of them said that every year on this day he always goes as far away as possible from Nicosia. They are not anonymous members of this or any other forum. They are real people who spoke blantly and explicitly against the presence of the Turkish army in Cyprus and the division of our island. These people have nothing in common with you pyrpolyser, that is why you do not know they even exist.

If you think you discovered gold by referring me to articles of Sener Levent, Hasan Kafetzioglou, Ozbaliktshi, his daughter (?) Sevgul Ulutag, and those few TCs that do not even exceed in number the fingers of your 2 hands you are fooling youself my dear. With the exception of Sener Levent the articles of those people concentrate on sentimental issues. FYI some political messages were in the past addresses by Akkinzi, and Ozgur (God rest his soul) and that's it.

The huge mouth of Bananiot alone accusing his own side all the time exceeds the writtings of those people all together a 100 times.
So yeah, perhaps you should go at ACTA news to see what the mojority of TCs want. Even Kikabu who is considered moderate in this Forum cannot hide his preference for partition and legalising the results of the invasion by keeping 37% of your own Country for themselves Turkey and settlers.

Open your eyes by dear.

Sentimental issues, yeah, I can agree with almost every GC or Tc about the pain caused by the dead, the war, the missing persons etc etc. I may even go picnics with a bi-communal group and dance identical Cypriot dances and sing identical Cypriot songs. And then claim that I am fighting the red, blue, and whatever ghoasts I can imagine.

However there will be a time I will have to talk with my "comrades in arms" how the hell I am going to get my rights back, and how the hell they are going to get their rights back.

That will be the time to learn if your picnics and the ghoasts you fought all your life had any effect. And it won’t take more than 5 minutes…. As for accusing your own side all those years and playing the brave guy like Bananiot who is not afraid of the "truth" as the other side sees it, I wonder what you will have to say when they tell you "aren’t you the one who said your side is evil" ? So why you want re-unification? Just sign us partition, legalise the results of the invasion the stealing of your properties and don’t worry….

…. we will continue having picnics, fighting ghoasts, and be friends like before. It is defeatists like you we were always looking for.
