Thanks Sotos, but I was drawing attention to something grotesque while also implying that it was noteworthy. To the contrary, there might be such a multitude of these stories out there on both sides

- surviving simply because others thought you were dead when in fact it was someone else's blown-off body part that was on you -

that there are actually commonplace. My post sounded sensational, like a tabloid. Perhaps it was worthy of sharing and I was being too sensitive in apologizing. Still, I wish I could have deleted it.
