For me it is not always a chore if that is what you mean.
I actually enjoy messing around the kitchen, using new recipes or doing my 'own thing' to see how a dish turns out - sometimes tasty, sometimes not so tasty! :oops: :lol:

Worst part is the washing up - now that really is a chore! :x
