Root: Are you suggesting that LTV & Alpha will return to the Nova package at some point? If that is the case then Nova are not telling their customers what is really going on because many many people, in particular English residents, are dumping the Nova because of the loss of LTV!
The programme content of FilmNet is certainly not as good as LTV. Also what is the use of having FilmNet3. which Nova is promoting as a second film channel - it simply shows Adult material after midnight!
Any comments would be welcomed.

I am having problems with my primetel TV service. It seems to be quite unstable.

Basically their tech dept told me to reset by switching evrything off for 5 mins & that should fix it.

Did not do squat.

If I wasn't locked into a 12 month contract I would go back to Cyta tommorow.

[b]Sotos[b/] no I don't work for them but I have a leak in there :)

I don't know yet about the filmnet or nova. they are trying to sign with greece now.

Also I guess that the Filmnet will cost extra. actually the agreement looks like this.

Example: Primetel agrees with LTV
We will got XXXX customers that will be watching LTV package. for every customer Primetel have to pay Ex.5CYP
and sells service to customer for 9.9CYP!

Customers happy,Providers happy, everyone happy.

Watching a recorded match 5 days after it was played and after knowing the final score is useless.

The matches will only be shown live on Sigma TV (terrestrial) and Sigma Spports 1 & 2 from Nova Cyprus

What about Sky tv? They have some very interesting packages. We only have the basic card, which picks up over 200 free channels, and it's awesome! There is always something good to watch.

I love waking up to Sky news, and watching the interactive news... entertainment, headlines, sport, etc. you can switch screens and watch anything you want.

I was very disappointed with mivision. Most of the rent movies were very old, and a lot of them could be seen on PIK and Antenna for free.

What ever happened to cablenet? Is that any good? I filled out a form at the exhibition in Nicosia a couple years ago and handed it to one of their represantives, but was never contacted. I would imagine that it is very similar to mivision.

Cableniet went almost bankrupt. They had no money, didn't pay their staff for months, had no equipment, no banks would lend them any more money as they were so much in debt, hence me calling them Cableniet or cablenot.

NOW, they have been bought out, have money in the bank, have staff and are still looking for more technitians, have a proper management system in place and have from what I can tell, a very good future. They are no longer Cableniet or Cablenot. They will make a big noise in the telecommunications industry.

yes sky is good, but very expensive, and i'm not happy about having such a big dish, (such an eye sore) with showtime its half the price and you only need a 1m dish, there's a good selection of british, american sitcoms and films, plus news and the discovery channels, sport, you can watch rugby and football etc. Not as many channels as sky, 50 in total which is plenty :)
