I am coming over to Cyprus next week, in order to buy a car to have out there for when I move in August.

I am looking for a second hand 7-8 seater people carrier like a Mazda Bongo or Toyota Lucida or Estima.

Doesnt have to be a huge engine just something that gets from A to b.

Needs aircon obviously.

Does anyone know how much these go for and who are the best dealers for this sort of thing.

Budget is approx £4,000 - £4,500cyp ... am I mad? is this a possibility

Was a post a while ago about a Dimitris Mandalis? (spelt from memory...sorry) in Larnaca, which is where we are buying a property.
Is he a dealer you can get this sort of thing from?

Any help on this would be fantastic

I think you mean MANDILAS,On Dhekelia Road.I heard that he is quiet good as dealer a friend of mine bought a little Peugeot from him and the delear gave him free services for nearly two years.

Cars, even second hand cars are so expensive here.

If you manage to find one for that price that is road worthy.....I'll eat my eye patch!!!!
