Architect arrested - does this really help the situation?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby Piratis » Sun Jul 02, 2006 2:30 am

Bill, sorry old man but most of your assumptions were totally wrong apart from the fact that I am younger and I have nothing to do with the tourist industry. For me dignity comes way before money, something you will probably die and never understand. I would say that love for money and lack of dignity is the common thing among the Cypriots you like, therefore I am glad I am not one of them.

I have anger and hate for injustice and those that support crimes, no matter were they come from. I am showing compassion to those that show to me (and everybody else) the required respect. Those that do not show the required respect to our human, legal and democratic rights should face the consequences of their actions.

zopovorto, the ones who are trying to be insulting here are non else than you and your friend Bill.

You can try to insult me as much as you want. But I noticed that you have also insulted many others and if you continue in this way I am afraid we will soon loose your "wise" words from our forum.

Why wasn't the architect arrested using Larnaca Airport, that is built on stolen land.

Why stolen?? All countries at times expropriate land to build roads, airports etc. They expropriated some of my land as well. Or is this another example were the super-human TCs should be different than the rest of us? .

Piratis, please don't take this personally, but as my ex-girlfriend use to say, "excuses are like assholes, everybody has one". If you're going to defend one action, you should also defend another, by demanding the release of this architect, otherwise, soon they would be arresting anyone taking a piss on someone elses land. Now, how would that look for a country with European values that you like to trumpet it all the time.

Bill , you sound a lot like Despo , I'm just wondering if you are the same person , why do I say this , condescending statements such as the one below that you posted .

"""Right thats it --the end -- when I first joined this forum I was disappointed to see that it was very political and at times full of hate -- I vowed never to join in on any political discussion -- I've broke my promise to my self -- but it will never happen again --- you can argue amongst yourselves til the cows come home --fuel your hate to your hearts content --it won't make a bit of difference to any future solution--that my friend is out of our / your control """

You joined this forum and you went straight for the political threads , naturally it dealt with politics and not the price of turnips .You are suggesting that we should carry on arguing amongst our selves while spewing out hatred .Let me disagree , and again I suggest you read further into the various posts by a number of contributors and you see that so much has been achieved in building "forum bridges " of mutual understanding and respect for each others views. When a newcomer comes on the forum and immediately puts every one down by not suggesting but by dictating their views as the correct ones , without bothering to at least to read a reasonable amount of posts from existing contributors , before coming to conclusions. When you say carry on fueling your hate , you are really putting your self , just as Despo , does , above every one else , and that you and only you know best.
Piratis is not a hateful person and neither are his views objectionable , on the contrary the man is a patriot and one that believes in the equality of man under international and national law.
I have , right from the time I joined , criticised nationalistic views , minority / majority issues , propaganda , preposterous statements on the legality of the "TRNC" as well as the RoC , and have always proudly maintained what I have always believed that Cyprus belongs to the Cypriots , that the perceived "motherlands " are anathema to our cause , that the Annan plan had it been implemented following a "successful " result would have, in a short period of time , resulted in renewed inter communal strife with disastrous results and more bloodshed.
During my time on this forum , I have made friends with many many Cypriots , and where , because of my age , I'm 60 , sounded a little patronising , I apologised. I consider our island to be the property of Cypriots and I consider that all Cypriots should be free to settle in any part of the island without any restrictions what so ever. Such rights were not given under the Anna plan. Many G/Cs , on the winning side , the side that would benefit mostly by recovering their properties immediately , were naturally disappointed that the referendum resulted in defeat. But a solution is not just about the property issue but the long term securities required in order to bring about stability and justice as well as prosperity to our people and to the future of our children , and our grandchildren. All Cypriots want a solution , not just the ones who voted Yes.
Finaly I hope you stay on the forum and carry on contributing .

Is there any TC who believes what Piratis and his kind don’t fueling hate between us?

All Cypriots want a solution , not just the ones who voted Yes.

The 50% of GC’s have vote what they don’t want any solution and people like Piratis will never be able to accept a federation because they are not able to accept reality and confront with their responsibility.

I can’t understand how we will be able to bring a solution while we are defending this racist behavior and I’m expecting a TC to prove me wrong.

I haven’t started any personal attack (you and your friend Kifeas did)

I’m willing to change my nick name or create a new account if growuptc and malaka do the same.

And is there anyone who believes what Bill tried to insult anyone and where?

I’m just wondering what if I and Despo and Bananiot and Bill were a community with arms to protect us it will be some respect for us.

Piratis and Kifeas are very good examples of why we will be divided for many many years to come, the sad part is that they do not realize they do more bad that good to reuniting this island. They drive us further and further away from wanting a united island and closer and closer to status quo and division.

The leadership must sit down and talk to the other side otherwise the ordinary people will pay again the price of the dirty politics of hypocricy!

There is hypocrisy on both sides but our government has become ridiculous.

The report of Kofi Anan direct accusing our side what we are not willing to share with TC’s in a federation solution and what there is gap between our words (lies) and works

This report until now was not approved by the Security Council of UN because of Russia but now in a new voting ALL the members of UN have accept the Anan report.

Russia France Greece they are all against us and they all supporting a federation solution based on the Anan plan.

But then again we are super Greek’s (more Greeks from the Greeks) and we know everything better, we will even teach Europe about how to be Europeans.

Our government is like a cartoon show and their hypocrisy is out of limit.

We’ve always has been super humans we was and we are more Greeks than the Greeks and now we are more Europeans from the Europeans.

We know everything better and we are the center of world.

We are a tragedy.
