I think that statement is spot on -- perhaps not for the younger Cypriots but it's certainly the case for middle aged and old Cypriot women.

Seems that they were born with a mop and duster in their hands.

And with some it's almost become a sickness.

Richard I have the Cypriot flag as an avatar because I now live here, I don't yearn fr the UK like some people I have met.
I am trying to learn the language, but its bloody difficult, however I shall plod on with it
