Try Atlantic, they have a websight and a great deal of Brits use the company. We were with Universal but it took them more than two months to pay out any type of claim and, we have learned that they use ANY excuse NOT to refund - have heard some dreadful stories!!!

i had a few quotes from various companies and for my family (1 man aged 34, myself a women aged 26 and 2 children aged 1 and 2yrs old) they all were in the range of £127gbp per month.
this was for the cover of teeth also and gp visits.

Does this sound right, it sounds quite expensive to me, but I have never has medical cover in the UK.

Jazzy1, That is about C£100, is that for the whole family? In brief, what are the main limits?

yes for all the family.

Included GP VISITS, DENTAL CARE. PRESCRIPTIONS, OUT PATIENT VISITS, HOSPITIAL CARE, OPERATIONS ETC (Limit of £1000,000 a year) + £1000. for physicatric treatments.
This was with no Excess
It was not the basic package but not the fully comprehensive one either.
Did not include marternity

do you think this is normal price. I just assumed it would be a bit cheaper than this as everyone says its so cheap.
