What sorts of fruit and vegetables is it possible to grow on a plot at a height of @ 500 metres above sea level ?.

Ok so its about where my mom lives and she has:
eggplants
peppers
parsley
tomatoes
lemon trees
peach tree
orange tree
green beans
strawberries


I think thats all but I can ask her to make sure.

You can grow just about anthing at that height The climate is ideal.....including runner beans and runner beans

I have seen a lot brits complain that there are no runner beans in Cyprus. Why dont any of you get seeds and try grow them in your garden? Just wondering. :oops:

The truth is andri, I do grow them but I'm keeping the mountain location a secret so as to avoid harrasment from the 'Brit ex pat association of runner bean stealers' (BEPARBS)
