Thanks for the info. I meant the small gas bottles that you buy in the supermarkets. I have a lot of stairs to go up and no lift so would'nt mind paying someone to deliver.

Hi Caroler,
Where I live it's hit'nmiss to get 400 litres delivered your chances of 10 litres are negligible

If the house is built to traditional cyprus methods ie concrete and block, then underfloor heating is the way to go, as nothing else will keep the floors warm in winter...

My 250 metre square 4 bed house costs about cyp£300 every 6-8 weeks in the winter with underfloor heating...

Split units cost as much to run and dont cover every room...

:(

Thanks again for the info on the delivery of small gas bottles. Guess I'll just have to continue relying on my good neighbours. I hate having to ask them again and again.

Hi G.Man

What!!!!!!!!! that's rediculous.

I have a concrete & brick 3-bed 220 sq.m bungalow and my underfloor heating fuel bill (LPG) for the whole of last winter was CY£160. Thermostat at 20c switches on at 06:00 and off at 22:00.

You must have a problem with your system - I suggest you have it checked/serviced.

Regards,
