We have various symbols in Cyprus, but they are mostly related to some ethnic groups or religions. The fact of the matter is that we don't have any other common symbols for whole Cyprus, other than the map of Cyprus itself. So in the unlikely scenario that we get reunified, I support having a flag similar to the old one, with no Greek or Turkish colors or symbols.

the flag is beautiful and like sadik indicated, is neutral to the motherlands...the white is indicative of this and the colour of cyprus in the flag is the colour i associate with cyprus...dunno y...maybe because of the dry vegetation in the summer (the only time im there :)) lol...

maybe if there was anything to change, i would place the outline of a white dove in the outline of cyprus...but then it would be complicating the flag...oh, i dunno...i cant improve it i guess...lol...

If the flag is so unique then why the locals want to replace it with either the Greek or the Turkish ?
