Hi all
Coming out on july 19th for two weeks to stay in our apartment for the 1st time,can`t wait,can anybody reccommend a good restaurant in the ayia napa area? We are actually staying in liopetri so anywhere around that area.

Last week I had lunch with my daughter on Ayia Napa's harbour side, what a RIP-OFF that area has become!

If you want to eat Greek try Costas Taverna in the center of Sotira, if you like fish try the fish restaurants at Liopetri Potamos, Hokaido in Ayia Napa is excellent for Japanese food but in my opinion the best restaurant in the Eastern end of the island is Sage in Ayia Napa.

i'm not that familiar with restaurants in ayia napa, the only one i've been to was the sushi place, which is pretty exciting. its one of those ones where the chefs are like magicians and do it all infront of you, and for a sushi restaurant its quite cheap too.

Totally agree about the Japanese. If you want local no frills the place by the water in Potamos creek used to do good honest food. Best places I know are actually on the Larnaca Dhekelia Road (the other way from Ayia Napa from Lioptri)

there are some really nice tavernas up in derynia, very cheap and the food is yum! in ayia napa itself if you are willing to pay the price figi is nice for polynesian food, the japanese is great and entertaining, vasos fish restraunt in the harbour is good, its just way too expensive in napa. There is a restraunt called fernagi in derynia i went for the first time a few weeks ago it was in a beautiful garden next to an old house and the food was delicious, price was vary reasonable 10cyp per head including drinks

i can recommend - CLARABEL. is near FIGI..its international cuisine i think. as far as i see - the place is always full - is a good sign, and the feature is - flamber..
