Actually this is good ! The more things you can do , the more experience you have in different fields , the better!. It means that you have acquired many skills!

I dont know what to advise though as searching for the right job is not easy for anyone. Registering in a job site may help may not ! Try to contact employers directly also Phileleftheros publishes a paper career (every wednesday)targeting those who are searching for job and publishes many elementary and senior jobs too(If you can get this paper in UK)! Maybe targeting offshore and international companies If they have such positions maybe the ideal! Good luck !

I dont see how answering the phone for an online gaming company like Wagerlogic has much to do with his previous work experience !! LOL

Bouncers (lets call a spade a spade) are usually required in Ayia Napa for the season but you'll need to be there to get a job, you could try Group 4 for normal security work but in all honesty Cyprus is the sort of place where you need to be on the ground and making contacts if you hope to get a job that pays anything wothwhile.

Take what you can get and start networking would be my advice. :)

Thank you to all of you who replied to my initial e-mail, i appreciate the advice. For the cabbie, i am not a bouncer, it is one of the things that i am adequately qualified and physically capable of doing and would be prepared to do that if the need arose. i spent 22 years in the navy in the communications branch, i served in both the falklands and the first gulf war so i have been around a bit. I came across this site and hoped that maybe somebody may be able to help point me in the right direction with regards to the jobs market and thank you for all of you who replied. I intend to visit again probably in October or November, i like to go to Limassol as i have friends there and really enjoy the south of the island. Please keep me in mind if you can think of any papers or web sites that i may search for work. Thank you very much for your time hope you enjoy the summer. Regards Chris

There are lots of jobs advertised in the Cyprus Mail and Cyprus Weekly. It would be worth subscribing to one or both if you are serious about finding work here.
