CY has stooped so low?

a purely business action which works out well ruined by yet another anti-turk feeling...if it benefits the airline, then be happy i say...business is business...the airline is there to make money, not be held back by old, pointless so called "rivalries".

i do feel sorry for CY's board of directors for being stuck with such narrow-minded imbeciles

they have other problems and they try to turn the problem elsewhere - i.e. "coopration with the enemy".
so typical.

yeap , but the ones complaining are the ones not taking the money.

if they had a share of the money.... believe me, their patriotism would be taken by the wind. always works

Kartal and cyberzokyli, have you actually read the article??

You could replace the word "Turkish" with the word "French", "Russian" etc and their reaction would have been the same.

Their problem is not that the plane was Turkish, but that this was taken for Hellas jet. They felt that Hellas jet and Eurocypria were helped while CY airlines is let to shrink.

Please read the article twice before you make your own random conclusions.

piratis did you actually listen to what this guy said:
«Όμως τα οξύμωρα δεν τελειώνουν εδώ. Ακούσαμε πριν από λίγες μέρες διά στόματος του προέδρου του Δ.Σ. ότι η εκμίσθωση αεροπλάνου από εταιρεία συμφερόντων του κατακτητή είναι καθαρά εμπορική.ν», σημείωσε.

i dont think you can replace the above word with russia or french.
believe me , i was sure that someone would have said sth like that , as soon as i ve heard the word "turkish".

Do you think that Cyprus companies should have transactions with Turkish companies? We should pretend that we have no problem with what they do in Cyprus? When it comes to things that will benefit us they block us because we are Cypriots. Like blocking our ships and planes from their ports!
