I only drink Earl Grey, its a fresher cleaner tasting tea, with bergamot, good for your digestion. Interesting though about the water boiling at a lower temperature. I have heard this before so i think thats true. Bet its freezing in the winter up there in the Gods RichardB, but nice this time of year when we are all roasted to a crisp.

Anyway where were we? I miss good english sausages and big pretty parks where you can walk your dogs, pooper scooper in hand of course..

ahhhh you poor things....well ha ha I still have all those luxurys!!!!!! So I am gonna stuff my face before I come over.
Tonight will be Bangers and mash with Runner beans, followed by all the sweets and ice creams mentioned and then later on a nice cup of tea and fresh cake. ........and if Iam still peckish in the evening i think ill have a nice tender juicy chicken sandwich.....with another cup of tea xx
however thats if I dont get mugged or shot on the way to the shops to buy everything.

about the water boiling at low temps, i hear that the higher above sea level you are the less your yorkshire puddings rise! all a bit odd, but my mum used to make great yorkys when we were in england on the coast but she just cant get them to rise as well here and her house is on high ground so maybe there is some truth in this.

What I miss, I'll start with the most missed HOCKEY!
actually wildlife: bears, deer, moose, racoons, squirels, skunks. Water that you could drink straight out of the tap. Water that has pressure and is alway's hot, or cold from the cold water tap now in the summer. Realistic wages. Theaters, casinos. and oh yeah -40 degree weather in winter to play on my skidoo! LOL

Littlemiss do you by any chance actually have the recipe for yorkshire pudding? If yes could I have it? I know it sounds crazy.

That will be faster to put a bomb and after build a new city...

For the trains, build a line between nicosia, larnaca, limassol and paphos will cost some hundred billions and will need 2 or 3 generation to do a benefits... I am not sure about that, but just have a correct bus system could be great !

Repainting ok but please not green, blue, pink ...

I found a house for sale last year that was a dirty pink ( probably painted 15 years ago when it was built ) -- the house was a little run down but a few gallons of paint would have made it look great and given me something to do in my retirement BUT my partner wouldn't entertain any thoughts of buying it -- I think it was the dirty pink colour that did it.

As for trains --- as a soon to be retired railway engineer I could be available
