No official statement has yet given by the British Prime Minister Tony Blair about the issue brought by the Committee of Foreign Affairs in British House of Commons.
Meanwhile, MacShane, Undersecretary of the British Foreign Ministry, said this would be an important development if the authorities of both Communities would accept this proposal.
Macshane also said that the Annan Plan was dead and there would be no further version of it. “The only way of bringing the matter to the agenda would be the decisive attitudes of the two parties, however, I don’t see such a solution will in either parts,” he added.
