A lot of cyprus is now available in pretty good resolution, both in the south and the north. I've been waiting for this for a long time - i can see my mum and dads villages, my bro's house in limassol, varosha, kyrenia - go and have a look now

Just had a quick look along Limassol front. It seems as though these are old images to me. as I said only had a quick look but will have a proper look tomorrow when I will have more time.

hi, i just ran google earth as normal....if you're not getting the higher res images go into >options< and clear the caches...no need to pay or download a new version.

I didn't have google earth on my PC so I got the last 4 Beta version. The images of Cyprus are finally good! Look to the left of the salt lake in Limassol. What are those huge circular things in the British bases??? I counted 14 of them!

they are areas that have radio transmitters in them. they are round because that is its perimitter. zone in real close and you can see the antenna

Yeah, the images seem to be very old. They do not show up road works on Christaki Kranou street in Limassol which started around one and a half years ago and still did not finish yet.
