They usually work 8 hours a day 5 days a week, but will be happy with more so its up to you to lay down your own personal boundries. Unless of course you are willing to work more hours, but dont expect more pay. or to get it on time.

You would better speak to the one who made you the offer for better conditions ie hours .. you may get them! So ask for specific information as the information you have provided are quite general.

40 hrs is the norm but you have to think about how much you are saving on accomodations, you have a good amount of vacation days and you did say a plane ticket right?

You also need to consider that most (all) employers pay 13 monthly salaries in a year which I assume will be the case with you!

ok It is not a long period. In a year she will manage to save up to 5000 cy pounds and have work experience to be acknowledged for any other potential employer. What it matter is how committed she/he is with this type of job and whether she/he will be enjoying this kind of Job in the hotel!

I am not saying she shouldnt consider it. I actually think it is a good deal considering all the props she is getting. But she does need to consider all the pros and cons and then decide for herself not because you or me told her to or not to do it.

Andri,
She will be paid £5850, there is no way she will be able to save £5000 of it if she wants any life outside work
