Brought my lab from UK no problem at all,the only problem i had was with the vet in the airport who dind't come on the specific time and left my dog in the shittiest cage they had in the airport(which they never clean).I remember his first days in Cyprus we were putting ice-cubes in his water.....

Hi we brought our 7 year old German Shepherd from Ireland 2 years ago. We arrived in December so he gradually acclimatised but still cannot tolerate the long hot summer. No way would we leave him behind though. Just a few days ago I ordered a "Cool Mat II" over ebay, best invention ever you just fill it with cold water leave it on a tiled floor or concrete and it keeps the dog cool. $120 approx including shipping and Cyprus vat.
