Lysi is ready to blame and judge yet doesnt seem to have taken a good look at her/his own thinking and behaviours. He/she doesnt seem to be a very happy person, or a balanced one. Obviously has been indoctrinated as a youngster to carry the bitterness and hate of her/his predecessors. The rhetoric never changers and the argument is not very intelligently put either. He/she sounds very young and immature, so i guess we just tolerate it as you would any child thats seeking attention.

Lysi, have you or your family applied to the property commission for the return of your property? The GC administration are really dragging their feet over a settlement on the Island, so it may be faster via the commission route? Will you come and live in your family property in the North if you get it returned? Where is the property?

theresa , which property commission , and why do you think that the GC Government is dragging its feet over a settlement . And how many properties have so far been returned to the rightful owners by the administrators , ie Turkey.
The settlement will come when all Cypriots appreciate each others concerns on the fundamental issues involved , mainly security issues .With Turkey in occupation of a part of Cyprus what do you expect the vast majority of Cypriots to do. Its a matter of time before another sizable minority comes to fruition in Cyprus , that of the Brits , and Eastern Europeans. May be Russia or Britain can then demand a part of Cyprus too with their own administration , police force and army.
There many many Turkish Cypriots who are genuine in their aspirations for a united Cyprus with out foreign troops and with the wisdom to know that no settlement can be achieved until the vast majority are comfortable with a solution. So much propaganda has taken place since the referendum and the No vote by the G/Cs , Turkey putting itself as the" peacemaker " .Well Turkey isn't known in the international world as anything of the sort, on the contrary she stubbornly refuses to recognise international realities on so many issues.
I'm a genuine Cypriot who considers all of Cyprus as my country and all of Cypriots as my people , I make no distinction between G/Cs T/Cs or indeed all the "new Cypriots " but I do make a distinction when it comes to Foreign occupying troops.

I understand. I have heard that the GC administration does not approve of applying to the TRNC properties commission. And you are right when you say that all Cypriots want foreign troops out. I have met many TC who dont want the army based here.

DRUG PROFITS PAY FOR THE PUPPET STATE BUILDING BOOM

Postby lysi » Thu Jul 13, 2006 2:16 pm

Tess, i think the wanted criminals that are living in your puppet state seem to be the ones that are in charge, maybe its because of the likes of GARY ROBB giving so much of his drug money to the puppet state regime to let him & his crooked pals live & do business in the occupied areas.
The GARY ROBB funded HOMEBUYERERS PRESSURE GROUP should disband and concentrate in ridding the occupied north of the hundreds of convicted & wanted criminals that live there .

Theresa , the RoC of course does not approve the "properties commission " of the "TRNC" Its common sense that my Turkish Cypriot compatriots can see that it would would be paramount to accepting the legality of the occupied part of Cyprus that No one apart from the creators recognise. Its a perfectly legal and reasonable stand taken by the RoC , bearing in mind that the cheeky creator of the "TRNC" doesn't even recognise a nation member of the UN , the Commonwealth , the EU as well as every other nation on earth. Turkey refuses to recognize the only legitimate government in Cyprus but yet expects the RoC GOVERNMENT TO DEAL WITH THE "PSEPHDO " STATE.

Lysi, I dont think the Orams will lose. If the original (legal) owner wants his land back he will have to apply to the ECHR. Despite all the publicity theres a lot of people who think that if the court rules in favour of the Orams it gives the green light to "buy, buy buy" the cheap properties available in the North!! The court case was to establish whether the orams UK assetts could be seized - a different thing entirely. I believe the ruling will be given out in November? In the meantime, perhaps the GC legal team can get the ball rolling in Europe, cos I dont think the English courts will let them sieze the Orams house in the UK!!

Wow it is actually taking a long time. I too dont think they will rule for the original owner. I think that he will have to take it to higher courts. If he has the mojo and the money to follow through with it.
