You forgot to mention that the pro-occupation HPG holds meetings on behalf of AGA constructions which is owned by your financial backer GARY ROBB.
I dont think that the british people who are involved with the HPG will want to admit that there group of crooks is financed by a WANTED BRITISH CRIMINAL.

In one local weekend paper, there was the announcement that there will soon be a "deeds handing out ceremony" for people who bought through Aga Developments (Director GARY ROBB). In another paper this weekend there was the announcement that one Aga development has had its water cut off 'cos Garys company didnt pay for the pipe work and connection etc!
If you believe that its true about some properties being "sold" more than once, it will be interesting to see who gets the deeds at the ceremony!! Perhaps they will chuck them up in the air and whoever grabs them in the skirmish gets the house!! What an undignified mess!! C'mon Lysi, will you start the whip-round for poor Gary?!!

I've had a look at the site and whilst you are correct that their emphasis is certainly not for the sale of illegal land very little is said regarding the status of the land beyond the following:

There are three different types of Title Deeds (Kocan) issued in Northern Cyprus:
a) Freehold Title (Foreign or Turkish)
b) TRNC Title (Esdeger or Tahsis)
c) Leasehold Title

a) FREEHOLD

FOREIGN TITLE
This is property owned by European residents and the title deed is internationally recognised. There are still a number of checks to be carried out by the Council of Ministers and therefore the transfer of a title into your name could take several years.

TURKISH TITLE
This is property Turkish Cypriots owned prior to the 1974 conflict. Foreigners are limited to one dönüm per person (husband and wife count as one person unless they have different surnames). Again, title transfer could take several years.

TRNC TITLE - ESDEGER
The property with TRNC Title Deed was previously Greek Cypriot owned prior to the 1974 conflict. When Turkish Cypriot refugees came to the north after July 1974, they left all their property behind in the south. The TRNC Government at the time assessed on a points basis, the value of the refugee's property in the south. With these points, the Turkish Cypriot refugee could take a Greek Cypriot house or land in exchange (esdeger). Again, title transfer could take several years.

b) TRNC TITLE - TAHSIS (TMD)
Again, the property was previously Greek Cypriot owned prior to the 1974 conflict. This type of land was given to the families from Turkey as a compensation for the lives of the soldiers who died in the 1974 conflict. Again, title transfer could take several years.

c) LEASEHOLD TITLE
The Government owns this property. Long-term leases are granted for 49yrs. You can apply directly or via a solicitor to the Ministry of Tourism to transfer the lease.

Which you must admit is misleading in that it leads one to believe that titles that were GC before 1974 are no longer legally GC owned. There is nowhere on the site that discusses the possible implications of buying GC title land in the event of a comprehensive settlement in Cyprus.
Buyers should note that the 'exchange' land has only been agreed as exchanged by one of the parties involved (The TRNC) and that the RoC still considers this land as GC title.
