WHO IS GARY ROBB ?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby theresa » Wed Jul 26, 2006 2:36 pm

Perecles, being accused of being sanctimonious is a first for me!!! No I am not filthy rich, I am actually not on anyones side in the property debate other than I can see that buying homes belonging to Greek Cypriots who want their property back is dodgy. For the record I dont think that individuals like the Orams should be prosecuted, if anyone should be brought to book it should be the goverment who gives PERMISSION for these sales. That is just my opinion. Also I would rather have (for security) a few square metres of Legal land than 10 donums of land belonging to someone else who may boot me out in the future. If in the future, compensation is accepted then all well and good - the big problem to come is when the Greek Cypriot declines compensation and wants to MOVE BACK . I have said it before and I will say it again - WHY is Former Greek Cyp land CHEAPER than Turkish or pre 74 foreign held land? Is it because - now lets think...................... oh, you may have to GIVE IT BACK!! Tess

Perecles
The ROC courts are recognised as the legal courts of the ROC by every nation except Turkey.
Why aren't the Cypriots in the occupied areas represented? Maybe you can answer me that, because i'm sure that if they have a ROC passport, Which i understand 70% do then they would be entitled to vote and have representatives in Government. What is stopping them taking up this option?

Your terrorist turned leader Tpap is stopping them, Akinci tried to get these rights back and was obstructed and is now taking the ROC to the ECHR.

YOU ARE AN ILLEGAL STATE WITHOUT THE TC PARTNERSHIP AS AGREED IN THE 1960 CONSTITUTION

All TC who have Cypriot nationality are entitled to vote in elections here. Also, a number of seats in the house of Representatives are/were reserved solely for TC.

Did we agree that the 18% of Turkish Cypriot minority will illegally control the 37% of land in 1960? I don't think so. So what exactly you want? That the 18% should illegally control the 37% of land just by themselves and then on top of that share with us the remaining 63%? Say another joke.

What is illegal in Cyprus is your occupation. This is a FACT that only Turks deny.

Exactly. But what Kerez wants is not for TCs to have an equal vote with GCs. What he wants is their veto powers, their 30% governmental positions etc that were given to them with the 1960 agreements, and all these without even ending the occupation!

So they want to take the benefits of 1960 agreements + illegal control of 37% of land, while GCs get a **** in their ass. Thats what Kerez wants.

There are 80 seats in the house of representatives 30% are reserved for TCs along with the vice Presidents office and have been vacant since 1963 when the TCs began their boycott. (please note the TCs began the boycott they were not the boycotted)

In the 2006 elections 270 TCs did in fact register as voters as did a TC candidate (Neshe Yasin)

Under constitution the TCs are still entitled to 30% of the representation in government . Is this not a good deal for 18% of the population. Again I ask Why havn't they taken up this option available to them NO ONE is stopping them

Other minorities only get 8 seats (Armenian,Maronite and latin speaking RCs)

WE NEVER AGREED TO YOU FORCING US OUT AT GUNPOINT FROM THE GOVERMENT IN 1963 AND FOR YOU TO FORCE US INTO GHETTO'S (IN THE SAME YEAR) COMPROMISING 3% OF THE ISLAND FOR 10 YEARS AND IN THAT TIME REFUSE TO LET IN FOOD AND OTHER NECESITIES THUS FORCING US TO LIVE IN INHUMANE CONDITIONS.

WHERE WAS YOUR RULE OF LAW AND THE TC HUMAN RIGHTS???

MY FAMILY WAS THERE AND WE SAW WHAT THE EOKA ANIMALS WERE DOING.

MY BRAINWASHED FRIEND, THE TC ARE CURRENTLY TAKING THE ROC TO THE ECHR VIA AKINCI BECAUSE YOU ARE STOPPING US ENTERING THE CHAMBERS TO RECLAIM OUR PLACE.

FOR THE INFO OF THOSE THAT DO NOT KNOW THE TC HAVE A SEPERATE ENTRANCE TO GOVERMENT AND WHEN THE TC WERE FORCED OUT BY GUNPOINT THE GC SHUT AND BOLTED THAT DOOR SO THE TC CAN NEVER ENTER IT AGAIN AND IS BOLTED TO THIS DAY, THESE ARE NOT THE ACTIONS OF A PEOPLE THAT WANT YOU BACK BUT WANT TO SEE THE BACK OF YOU LEAVE FOR GOOD.

Kerez , you are no doubt a very young man , and all of your information has been handed to you second hand. There no angels or demons in Cyprus. The Greek and Turkish Cypriots belong to Cyprus and they own Cyprus together. You must see the complexity of the matter , Turkey is an occupying power and is seen as such by the vast majority of Cypriots. Until all Cypriots come to realize that the best thing to do with the past 32 years is to bury them and try for a solution that the overwhelming majority of Cypriots find reasonably acceptable.
The "TRNC " will remain isolated for ever , the International forums will not recognise a nation created by invasion.Turkey would not annexe THE OCCUPIED PART , EUROPE WONT HAVE IT.THE REALITY IS WE ONLY HAVE ONE SOLUTION. a united Cyprus independent of Greece and Turkey providing security and peace to all Cypriots.
