Lysi

Exact extract from the article.

Didnt see were it said "STOLEN GREEK LAND"

In fact given the stories from the "North" it would do more damage rather than be a pro-occupation programme like you claim

BBC SOUTH EAST is looking for people from its region (primarily Kent and East Sussex) to be featured on it's current affairs programme, 'Inside Out'. We are looking for people who have moved from the south east and are experiencing problems with builders, estate agents and lawyers etc in setting-up their new 'dream' home. Having recently moved back to the UK after four and a half years living in the TRNC, I'm well versed in the kinds of problems people have been experiencing. I've experienced some of them myself! Being married to a Turkish Cypriot, I also understand the reluctance of many to tarnish the TRNC's image abroad but can only suggest that outside scrutiny is sometimes very effective in bringing about much needed changes to regulations and working practises. If you are from the South East region and think your story should be told, please get in touch with me. All calls will be treated in confidence. We will not pursue your story without your express permission and cooperation. Thank you.

As long as these programmes are very clear in explaining the original ownership of the houses they show (whether they b e TC or GC owned) and also clearly explain the nature of the risk any buyer takes in buying Greek-Cypriot property then they are quite welcome to focus on the other things. Not to mention that the property was effectively 'stolen' in 1974 (if indeed it was) is mis-information that could cause those who do not know the situation in Cyprus to fall into the trap of buying dispossesed property.
