Hi

I was attempting to get an an update about this contributor (Greek Cypriot_Gurl) who I suspected of being a troll.

A "troll" on the internet, for those who don't know, is a character who pretends to be someone else, enters a forum and causes havoc by broadcasting outrageous opinions, stirring up animosity and doing their best to wreck any sort of sensible dialogue.

Suddenly the thread got locked and no further contributions allowed.
Can any one in administration explain why?

Apparently not.

Maybe you should make a suggestion to open a new section called "Cyprus Forum gossiping" were your threads would fit better.

Furthermore I personally think it is wrong to have discussions about people that are no longer with us and can not defend themselves.

I suggest that reasons are given in case of a locked thread.

Otherwise it looks like simple censorship and the inability to take a joke / satirical comments.

Well, just read the rules, and there's one against personal attack. In the case that there's a troll (an assumed identity) does that count as a personal attack?

I guess the rule about directing complaints to the moderators and administrators rather than to the board would be more the reason why it was locked.

? An explanation would be great.
