Exactly, thats what I said! When one erases or locks Turkish texts, he has to erase or lock Greek texts as well. It is a matter of principle.
Please however notice that I DO NOT AGREE with such an action. My opinion is that such action must not be taken. But if and when the moderator wants to do it, then he must stick on matters of Principle. I hope I am clear.

So MicAtCyp, if the rule was indeed "English only", do you think that posts with whole pages of text in Greek or Turkish, should be treated in the same way as posts containing a couple of words in Greek or Turkish?

You for example, many times said somethings in Greek or Turkish, and actually i believe some times you didn't translate your Turkish phrases/words. Then you said to Brother that by posting in Turkish shows disrespect to other members that can not understand them.
So, did you show disrespect too when you posted some phrases in Greek / Turkish? Or there is indeed a difference between posting a couple of words in GG/TR versus whole pages in these languages?

I think the article written in Turksih could not have been reviewed or edited by the moderator (which is one of the forums rules) unlike the article written in Greek , and thats the reason for that treatment. I dont think there has been a different treatment.

this post is going way off the point. If a word of Turkish or Greek gets used within a sentence even if I don't understand the word I can guess from the context what it might mean. Most times it is done in a lighthearted way to imply that there is knowledge of each others language. I never thought MicatCyp was showing disrepect by using some Turkish in his posts, in any case we had better get used to each others language if we are one day to have resolution to Cyprus problem. Brother, you haven't said so but I wonder if your reason for posting something in Turkish was to highlight the offence of that message in Greek. If the moderator could understand it why still did it get through the net where it could be read?

Proving a point is why i popsted it as i always write in english and when the racist greek post was put up i was first to write put it in english so all understand but the moderator done nothing even when i complained, he used the arguement that other users translated it but that was much later and who says it was an accurate translation(no disrespect intended to other forum users) but when i put that post up which was not racist within a couple of hours he had blocked it, i ask why did he not give the same forum users the chance to translate or ask me to translate before locking it, this to me shows a lot of biased actions and i wanted to highlight it.

ALSO MAY I ADD IN ALL COUNTRIES INCLUDING CYPRUS IT IS AGAINST THE LAW TO ENTICE RACIAL HATRED OR MAKE A THREAT OF RACIAL INTENT WHY IS THAT POST STILL THERE.

Brother,

Read the last rule in the forum rules. I will repeat the last point for you here:

The administrators and moderators have the final word - If you have a problem or a complaint, direct it to the administrators and/or moderators, not to the boards. They will then take the appropriate actions.

Your accusations are false. The message that you say promoted racial hatred all it said was "we are coming ... and we are thousands". Compare that with this message posted some time ago:

If you have any further questions or complaints please send a private message to me. This forum has specific rules. You have the freedom to choose whether to use this forum and follow the rules, or not use this forum at all.
