lysi. you are a seriously twisted individual and for the most part your anti-british feeling and hateful comments have annoyed me to the core. You think you can slag off the british, whose money, hard earnt in the main, props up the economy of this little island at the end of the med and without it you'd probably still be using a donkey to get to work and back.

You'll take take take all day long... but what do you give back? Mouthful after mouthful of hateful bile that shames you and most decent people.

I am glad you werent banned because you'll find i'll be on your case now and you won't get an easy ride. In the end you'll probably leave.

Your blind one track notion that we are all evil and you are all whiter than white has been quite properly exposed for what it is. But I daresay inside your tiny mind, it's not this island that's the centre of the universe.... but YOU!

Oh dear, am i not allowed to mention the crimes commited by the british in cyprus ? it was the wonderful british that caused most of the problems in cyprus, also they hung several cypriots in the 1950,s, many of them innocent young greek cypriot men.

MICROPHONE DOES NOT LIKE THE FACTS

And whilst i agree with your comments about lysi, i also think that sometimes you have to call 'a spade a spade'.

It's a shame that this very liberal forum, (applause), as opposed to some other forums out here, gets hijacked by a few mindless fools.

Keep open debate and even a good argument here and there as it makes the forum worth being on. But in my humble opinion, if people like lysi are prepared to take shots, and the forum moderator allows it, then it's gloves off.

Perhaps there could be a room called 'lysis political hatred room' where these arguments could be conducted without distrurbing the rest of the forum. Then he can rant all day and all night.... mostly on his own... and then kick him if he brings his rubbish to the general arena.

And now it's time for a beer. MMMMMMMMMMMMM

MICROPHONE, all i did is tell people a news item I read on the forum about 3BRITISH SOLDIERS WHO RAPED AND MURDERED A YOUNG WOMAN, why dont you want me to mention it ?

Lysi no one is saying that this is not a serious subject, and i'm sure all agree that it should be discussed about after the article appeared in the Cyprus Mail.

And no one would deny the perpetrators are scum.

But it sees to be always the British you choose to have a go at. This constant barrage of anti British sentiment will get you nowhere unless you can put over your points in a constructive manner. Then maybe other members of the forum will take you serious.

RICHARD, why is it so wrong of me to mention the fact that the murderers of that poor woman are BRITISH ? as i have mentioned before it was the BRITISH who have caused most of the problems in cyprus , just like the shit they are causing in iraq. If BRITAIN wants to interfere in other peoples countries then there will always be people like me that will complain about that.

Ive been reading these posts and have pasted some of my comments here from the other thread on this topic.

I m a Brit so i think i can comment on this without being accused of anti-british bias. These 3 are British subjects now walking British streets unsupervised, so this concerns me more than other appalling crimes in Cyprus with equally ridiculously lenient sentences. I dont much care if lysi is a Brit hater or not. He s in Cyprus and I m in uk so its hardly a problem for me. Sticks and stones(and army spades) may break my bones... and all that.

Damsi- your comments about drunkeness were right but dont try to tell me that these guys have reformed.

These men tried hard to avoid any punishment on technicalities and by challenging every piece of evidence presented to the court, inflicting further suffering on Louise Jensen's family. The points above about them having aids or one of them being a former boyfriend of Louise are just unsubstantiated gossip. They ve never expressed an ounce of genuine remorse and at least one of them had a history of unprovoked GBH. So the appeal courts reduction of sentence is a travesty. How can you pretend this killing was actually manslaughter (in uk= no intention to kill or do really serious harm).

A murder conviction would have stood in the UK thought i m not sure they would have got the whole-life sentence they deserved.

The Cypriot people and the whole of Europe have been badly let down by the Cypriot so-called justice system as these 3 are out after 12 years and free to take up residence in any of 25 EU countries totally unsupervised, not even registered as sex offenders.

Some Brits think they may be bought to account in the UK. Keep an eye on the blog http://www.fight-for-justice.blogspot.com/ for a possible online petition to the European parliament amongst others. (Be patient as the site is sometimes down).Sign any that appear there and link this and any other relevant blogs to the one above.

A cypriot motorcyclist was rammed into and killed the same week 2 of these men were released. Some incidents are meant to tell us something. Make sure your politicians and lawyers feel the heat on these early releases so nothing similar can happen again. Also, what other country has what amounts to an automatic 1/4 sentence presidential pardon? Only banana republics as your own Marios Matsakis said. If Cypriot justice is in such a mess, maybe the country is not fit to be an EU member.
