Hi fellow sports fans,

Can anybody tell me what sports you can bet on in the Cyprus betting shops and what tax deduction do you have to pay on winning bets. Are they busy places for local cypriot men and how popular or unpopular is gambling in Cyprus also has the Poker bug it Cyprus yet ?? Also horse racing in Cyprus, are there bookmakers who put up their prices on boards or is it like a Tote owned by the government where people bet into a pool and a divided is announced on the winner ?

There are many betting shops. Mostly for football and that kind of sports. Horse racing is also available. Poker and similar are illegal!
