thanks for the interest cabbie.
I've been looking at bmw's at the moment.
A 330d duty free in Cyprus is roughly £22400uk, whereas back here its more like £34000uk.
when you sold themin the UK, were any costs incurred ay all then, ie import tax, car tax whatever.
You see, i got all the information leaflets from UK customs and the only way to get a car in, is if it has 6000km on the clock and its 6 months old.
If i could somehow do this in cyprus, for instance store it and run the clock up on a rolling road, ok, the car would not be worth as much selling with miles etc on, but theres still money to be made i'm sure.
I'm just wondering though. If i was to store it etc in Cyprus, would customs want something from me or would it only be if i was to actually run the car in cyprus.
Do you see what i'm trying to explain?
