Nesie Yiasin first for EDI

EDI didn't manage to win a seat but Nesie Yiassin who was the only TC candidate in this elections received the most votes for this party 1,423 with big difference from the second who received 788. Marios Karoyian who I guess is Armenian Cypriot was the the candidate who received the most votes for DIKO with 13,617.

If EDI had managed to elect a candidate that loser Papapetrou would be elected since he was the leader of the party and not Yiasin.

If Papapetrou wanted to give Yiassin a chance to be elected he should have been a candiate in another district and let Nicosia for Yiasin.

I think you are right :shock: Except if Papapetrou expected to win 2 seats in Nicosia? :lol: I heard Papapetrou gave resignation and that EDI will possibly dissolve if he leaves.
