Agreed, bcuzikan. See, the problem here is that many people in Cyprus live a dull boring life, and they have nothing better to do than judge others to give them something to talk about. If it's not about gay marriage, it's about Russian women, and how they're all whores. OR it's how much they hate the English because the English control part of the island. I blame it on the parents. They teach their children very bad habits at a very early age, and then the children grow up with the same narrow minded style of thinking that their parents had. I know I'm getting a bit off the topic now, but why do you think Cypriot people poison dogs? Because when they were kids, their parents would tell them "DON'T go near that dog. It will bite you, or it's carrying a disease!" That kind of thing rarely happens in England, and it's regarded as a dispicable act. It's the same with gay people. Some Cypriots are rather insular. They live on a small Island, and are not exposed to the diverse world we live in. Being gay isn't a big deal in the US and UK. But over here, it's like "oh my god, he's gay!" Some Cypriots really need to get off this island and visit other parts of the world where people aren't so judgemental, and narrow minded. And the women really need to stop looking down on foreign women because they're different and attractive. It just goes to show how complexed they are. Leave the judging to God. There are far worse things going on in the world right now than someones sexuality. And let people live how they choose to live.
