community charges and taxes

Hi, Thinking of moving out to cyprus to live and work. could somebody advise what tax percentage you get stopped from wages, as i have heard you only pay tax after you have earned more than £10,000.00?
Also apart from general utility bills do you have to pay council tax and tv licence and if so how much?
i will be grateful of any other info you can give me.

You have to earn more than 10.000 to pay income tax. For community taxes check here: http://www.cyprusdevelopers.com/content ... arent_id=3

...and Municiple Charges (Council Tax) at £50, not £1,500 pa
