Why didn't Greece defend Cyprus in 1974?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Should Greece have gone to war with Turkey in 1974?

SORRY , BUT YOU HAVE PERCULIAR SENSE OF RIGHT AND WRONG. YOU ALLOW PEOPLE THAT HAVE COMMITTED CRIMES TO POST ON THIS FORUM, BUT YOU DO NOT ALLOW US TO RESPONSE. STEALING IS OKAY, BUT NAME CALLING IS BAD

Dear Alexander

Having asked you not to make personal remarks, you immediately respond by accusing me of having 'a peculiar sense of right and wrong', let me repeat myself, please address issues - not make comments about other Forum members - and that includes me.

You know nothing of my sense of right and wrong; in my role as Moderator, I solely concern myself with helping members follow the rules, I make no other judgement on the views expressed. If you cannot work within the rules, you know the alternative.

Let me quote someone:'Admin you are absolutely correct , bad language and inslults should not be a part of this forum. Ideas , thoughts , agreeing or not with someones ideas is part of this forum Im certain.' Are these words familiar? They are yours.

I beg your pardon. I have asked a perfectly reasonable question, and all can do is respond with veiled threats.

Svetlana , please allow me to correct your post to Alexander where you attributed my words as his.
"Let me quote someone:'Admin you are absolutely correct , bad language and inslults should not be a part of this forum. Ideas , thoughts , agreeing or not with someones ideas is part of this forum Im certain.' Are these words familiar? They are yours. "
Your kind correction would be appreciated .

Hi Miltades

Yes, you are correct, but, weirdly, if you check Alexander's old posts under his profile - these words come up on a post of 6 May! Weird.

Hi Alexander

Firstly, you did not ask me a question, secondly, there was no threat, I implied you were free to leave if you found the Rules unacceptable.

TURKEY TOO STRONG

Postby Limassolean » Sat May 20, 2006 4:19 pm

Simply because Turkey would have got the excuse and have taken the Agean all together in a couple of days!

Remember....when during Patakos Junta the kept finding ammunition boxes in the Greek armed forces empty and or some full of stones and rubbish

How could they assist? They were in position to assist there own territory

TO BE REALISTIC. NOTHING CHANGED TODAY EITHER. TURKEY IS TOO BIG AND TOO POWERFUL

Thank you Svetlana , but this is an error in the general forum application , since if you click on Alexander's may 6th post , the words in question do appear incorrectly. Perhaps you would look in to this since a visitor to the site would draw wrong conclusions in reading words not posted by the person in question. You will get the idea if you click on the subject in question for the may 6th post , so there is indeed an error.
Regards
