There's a duck goes into a pub, right, and he walks up to te bar and says; "Good evening landlord, pint of your finest please." So the landlord pours the duck a pint of bitter and the duck settles in for the night.
It turns out, to the landlord's surprise that the duck is really good company. It tells a few jokes, sings a song or two, then one of the locals invites it to play the piano. The duck is a really good boogie-woogie player, then gets up and dances. By the end of the evening, the duck is everybody's friend, and as it is leaving at drinking up time, the landlord calls out: "See you again?" The duck replies, "I'll be in tomorrow."

Well, the next the circus comes to the village and sets up on the green. At lunchtime, the ringmaster comes into the pub and has a pie and a pint. The landlord says to him, by way of conversation, "We had a duck in here last night who you would love to meet. It can dance, sing, tells jokes, even plays the piano." The ringmaster looks up and says, "I'd like to meet this duck. Tell him I might have a job for him."

That evening the duck is back in the pub. The landlord says, "We had the ringmaster from that circus on the green in here at lunchtime. Said he might have a job for you."

The duck says, "That's odd. What's he need a plumber for?"
