I wouldn't be surprised if PrisonPlanet suggested that the French were the puppeteers orchestrating the Cyprus Problem.

People don't hate the brits or the Turks it's just they don't like what they did to Cyprus, not that the GC's and the Greeks didn't make mistakes....
It's hard from some Cypriots to have the Britsh Bases, I mean how would you like another country having some English land as a base, it's kinda annoying.....

Are you sure you cant build on it?

I dont profess to be an expert but maybe the land your family own is designated for Agricultural use only or something like that.

I know that lots of development has gone on over the last few years in the SBAs. Especially in the Akrotiri area.

She is absolutely right. There is some land who is close to the Bases that you can build on if you have special permission on them. I know cause we own some. But if your land is within the bases you can only use it for specific purposes, as if it is not yours.

Hey, thats what i've been told, although I could be wrong...I just know for sure that there's complications surrounding the land...The land is whithin the Dhekelia base, so it may be slightly different to the Akrotiri Base, i'm not too sure....
