TRUE TURKISH MENTALLITY

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby miltiades » Sat May 13, 2006 1:03 pm

mrfromng ., your gesture is much appreciated , let me say that the majority vote was against the Annan plan and NOT as you state a vote for separation. I was not in Cyprus at the time but I have , on more than one occasion voiced my opposition to the plan , for reasons that I have posted earlier. As far as your comments as to Andry and I being in the minority Im afraid you underestimate the intelligence of the Greek Cypriots. They are dilligent , industrial , well educated , principled with a vision closer to reality. The people you mention are a tiny minority , but please do not confuse the NO vote to the plan as a NO vote to a solution. Most of the Greeks that I know share my views and the majority of Cypriots also want a just solution with all refugees returning to their homes
and all foreign armies becoming redundant and departing from our Cyprus.

Next day the friend who did a runner was boasting to his mates that he and he along told the Turks what he thought of them while Miltiades and our other friend sat down and said nothing. The idiot was full of air , no guts , single handedly he would take every single Turkish Cypriot and throw them out of Cyprus , he bloody well run when he realised that he just couldnt take them on. I can see from your posts you are a very young man full of bravado but unable to comprehend the damage that ideas such as yours are causing to Cyprus. The Turkish Cypriots are in their country just as much as you are in yours. How do you propose to get them out ? With the help of my mate who run out when faced with realities ? Cant you see that we need their help to unite our island , to get the occupation troops out and resolve the settlers question ?

Yes, thank you for little homily. But I am afraid its people like you that are damaging the cause of this country. Do you think that by your obsequious fawning to these people that you will achieve anything? They will string you along for ever and a day and they will give up nothing. Realise this now before it’s too late. What has contact with these people brought us? Increasing crime, bird flu, cheap labour, hospitals and social services at full stretch and all other ills associated with miscreants .

How did you come up with all these cheap conclusions?

What, your lack of judgement or the miscreants flooding to the R.O.C. Are you blind?

No Alexander how did you come up with words like "miscreants " and "obsequious "Make it easy for us simpletons to understand your attacks on any one who wants responsible realistic approach to our proplems , by using easy to relate to words . Im sure that you can be constructive if you put your mind to it. What do you propose we do with criminals , bird flu bearers and cheap labour , or the Turkish ocupation army. I know , make them swim back to Turkey ! ! Well you will need more than bravado to do this. And how dare you refer to responsible people like my self as "its people like you that are damaging the cause " I suggest you study some of my posts in order to understand the positiion that I have taken on the future of our Island. You come across as a young , angry man full of hate for the Turkish Cypriots and you object when other Cypriots do not share you commitment to ruining the future of our Island. Let us know when reach maturity.

Your realistic approach would have lead us to all wearing Fez’s and praying on a mat facing east. R.O.C would have ended up as an Ottoman satrap. No thank you. It would be a start if we showed some self restraint and stopped traveling to the occupied areas. I would have closed the green line crossings along time ago.

Alexander dont bother wasting your time with miltiades his nothing but a traitor and coward or maybe his a Turk himself he attacks me and you but he says nothing to mrfromng who has used filthy language towards me he has seen mrfromng say how Turks have F***Ed greeks for 500 years and he says nothing but blames me

Alexander i dont know about closing the green line i have mixed feelings about this the thing what i hate about the green line opening is that the turkish illegal side is making money from this but the thing is ever since the green line has been open i was able to visit my parents old villages last year which are occupied by the turks i was born in uk but my parents had always told me about there villages so i always wanted to see my parents villages and my dad missed his home and wanted to see it the mistake that greeks are making is not visiting there own homes but when they do go to visit there homes in the north they spend money there on food and other things but when i visited the north with my mum and dad we did not spend a penny there Also when my dad visitied a monastry in his village the monastry had all this turkish stalls outside it selling cheap jewelery becasue lots of Greeks Cypriots visit this monastry the turks set up stalls there also the thing that made my dad really mad was that when he went to use the toilet in the monastry the turk said that they where charging visitors to use the toilet seeing that monastry did not belong to turks my dad told this turk what he thought of him

Alexander , what the hell are you on about ? Wearing a Fez , facing east and praying ? Close the green line crossing? How on earth do we get our Island put back together again. Get it through your head once and for all. WE EITHER EMBRACE THE TURKISH CYPRIOTS AND ACCEPT THAT THE ARE AS MUCH A CYPRIOT AS WE ARE OR CYPRUS REMAINS PARTITIONED FOR EVER. In 10 -15 years time people with your ideas will be calling for the removal from Cyprus of 500 THOUSAND SETTLERS. The occupied part of our island will be annexed to Turkey and you will kiss Famagusta , Kyrenia etc goodbye , will you then understand that your approach was wrong. The differnce between us is simple .I love Cyprus , all of Cyprus , I love Cypriots , all Cypriots , You hate Turks and think that we will somehow by throwing abuse at them they will get up and leave their country, here Im refering to the Turkish Cypriots NOT the occupying army. Alexander neither you nor I nor Greece or Europe or the USA WILL FORCE TURKISH TROOPS OUT OF CYPRUS. Only the establishment of a just and viable solution will make their stay on Cypriot soil end. So lets work with our compatriots , YES COMPATRIOTS , and diplomacy will bring the desired results that You , I , and all Cypriots want. A peaceful island with human rights for all Cypriots .
LONG LIVE CYPRUS

let me tell you the trick gcg.
make some tcs friends. then AND BECAUSE THEY ARE CYPRRIOTS , they are not going to let you pay when you go to the north. i have said that before that on the first time in the north i did exactly the same thing : carrying my food with me , and today i feel embarrased for doing that. its the most rediculus thing our head could have came up with.

anyway make some tcs friends (assuming that you change your attitude , or wait till oyu grow up ) and you will see that you dont have to pay anything (if thats your problem ).
the only thing, is that when they come to the south then you pay the round of drinks....like a traditional cypriot

Alexander wrote:Typical, you live 10 000 miles away in the middle of another continent and “you wouldn’t mind living next to a Turkish Cypriot.” Well those closer to home feel differently. Why should we be forced to live next to anyone? Turkish Cypriots knocked adjoining houses so as to stop Anatolian Turks being neighbours.

Where I live doesnt make me less of a Cypriot than you are or my opinion less important. My family has given more than their share to my country and I sit here laughing my a** off when people like you want to call me a traitor and whatever else you come up with. Go take a cold shower, drink your milk, eat your cookies and when you are grown up you can come back and talk to us again.
