CENSUS REVEALS SOARING POPULATION IN THE NORTH

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

mrfromng
No problem with that at all GCG. The sad truth is that you chose to ethnically cleanse the island of the TC's to achive it, that is what the TC's object to.

no mrfromng the ethnic cleansing was done by you and your turk brothers
becasue the majority of greeks choose eosis democraticaly you where against democracy and wanted to take away greeks Cypriots rights for what they wanted which was eonis i am not sure how many greek Cypriots want EONIS but if the majority wanted that then it was there right to vote for it as a majority Cyprus has become part of the EU is there anything wrong with that ? is turkey gonig to come and invade us again becasue we have a union with the EU all this crap i heatr about how GCs wanted to get rid of the TC's that is not true the TC's did not like it that majority of greeks wanted EOSIS so they provoked the GC's with the TMT also this hasnt only happaned in Cyprus Turks have also killed Armenians Assyrians Kurds pontian Greeks have nearly been wiped out and mrfromng wants to accuse GC's of ethnic cleansing of the TC's well mrfromng what is turkeys excuse for killing the armenians kurds assyrians pontian greeks Dont tell me they where also in Cyprus killing the TC's lol

Mispelling a word doesnt mean anything. The fact that she cant spell in Greek doesnt maker her less or more Greek or Cypriot or whatever it is you consider yourself. The person who sat next to me in school couldnt spell to save her life. She almost mispelled her name.

the reason that i mentioned the above was that i was in NY a month ago and met a 12 year old kid , who was 3rd generation greek american. he wouldnt speak correct greek , but he wanted to kill all the turks bc all of them are ...ahem...malakes...  and when i met the second generation parents , i could hardly spot the differences. the father was furious at the greek bigbrother or fame story bc they accepted a turk to participate! his main argument was , that they have taught us to hate turks at school and now the greeks in greece bring them for a second occupation. 400 years and they didnot learn!!! we are talking about this level of arguments ...

from all the crap that huntigton said , he said one thing right: in order for someone to be able to define himself as a member of a specific group , he needs to find what he is not. if you have someone to hate then you have an identity.

i dont know and i cannot say if gcg is like that. she may as well speak better greek than i do. i only speak for what i saw.

and that diaspora that i met in the US : they couldnt speak greek , they had no clue about greek history , but they knew onr thing : to hate the turks. thats enough prerequisite to classify one as greek i guess.

As far as the apodimoi go(2nd 3rd generations), I have seen a similar situation. It's almost like they are stuck in the past more than the actual people who live in the country. The memories and feelings they took with them when they left are the ones they still carry and instill in their children. It goes for everything not just how they feel about the Turks. It seems they are more traditional as far as raising families goes and more into the past than most Greeks or GC's of today. So we agree on that one actually :D

perhaps we agree on more than we think
but honestly i did have a strong feeling that this time-bubble theory does apply. ..but we do have nice exceptions in here as well
.......

funny, but i was just readind a report from the world bank , and a statistic carried out showed that countries who have strong and rich diaspora in the US , are more likely to experience civil wars . the conclusions i leave to you
