Moral philosophy is hard thought about right action.
-Socrates
Simplified its about how we feel about ourselves, most people do what makes them feel good about themselves, difficult to do bad and feel good.
Morality is an internal reference that can be from a number of sources, religion gives us precepts on how to behave and think, parents do to, Laws also. Values morals and meaning are intertwinned, they are our internal rules to live by, strength of character, but many take the moral high ground and do the opposite in their real life. Hipocrasy is rife, the appearance to seem rather than to be. But at the end of the day isnt it about treating others how we would wish to be treated with just fairness and respect.
