SHOULD LYSI BE BANNED FROM CYPRUS FORUM ?

Postby lysi » Fri Apr 28, 2006 12:41 pm

I have just recived a PM from admin threatning to ban me from this forum.a final warning. IF members want me banned then i will go, but remember all i do is confront those who support the occupation, those who buy stolen greek property and those who dont care about the plight of the thousands of greek cypriot refugees.
Let me know if you want me banned.

Lysi,

Your arguments are always one sided, your responses tend to be aggressive and abusive. Perhaps that is why you are being warned of a ban.

If you were to have a poll on this I would vote NO, OXI. I don't want you banned.

Lysi,

don't go, moderator, this is a forum of free speech right ? Lysi didn't do anymore than anyone else. He/She speaks his/her mind on the occupation. You have chosen to have a very sensitive topic on your forum and then you don't like what people say. Who's side are you on ?? This would be interesting to know ??

So, if Lysi goes i will goto because i don't want to be dictated to in a free country, and certainly not by a moderator.

Pantheman.

P.S at the end of the day its tit for tat.

Confront those... Those being the English. I often agree with the threads you write but have to say you are often so blinded by your hatred towards the British. It isn't just the British buying in the occupied areas. There are all sorts of Europeans etc. :x

I hope you stay, but in the future you direct your arguments with less racism and loathing.

Can't wait to read the response from bigfatlondonboy, your adversary

ARE THE BRITS SO PERFECT ?

Postby lysi » Fri Apr 28, 2006 2:18 pm

HEY TWINKY, how many young cypriots did the wonderful british execute in the 1950s ?
How many greedy brits are buying cheap property built on stolen greek cypriot land in the occupied north ?
Why does britain have several military bases on cyprus territory ? Why does britain support Turkeys occupation of cyprus so much ?
Answer those smart one

ps twinky, me and my familly are not as lucky as those brits who have bought property in the north, we are not allowed to return to our homes and land.

Lysi,

Is it possible you may have lost that privilege after you try to ethnically cleanse TC's for your goal of ENOSIS? Please don't tell me about EOKA being the culprit. My wife remembers clearly back in 63 the aggressors were their bloody Greek neighbours. She was a child of 9 and remembers like it was yesterday the neighbours that they would share coffee on daily basis had turned killers within minutes of the attacks.

YOUR MOTO IS "A GOOD TURK IS A DEAD TURK" Isn't it?

I agreewith you that the actions of the British in the 1950s is inexcusable. However, I am saying stop picking on the Brits all the time. As for the bases in Cyprus they should have gone many years ago and serve no purpose to Cyprus. I do blame the Governments (past and present though) for pussyfooting around and not getting the rent owed to them. Any other country would have demanded it after so many years. It's shameful.

I sympathise with you over your family's situation. My family were not directly affected although the affect it had on my father mentally was harsh and is not forgotten.

I am not saying the Brits are perfect but stop referring to them solely. There are many other nationalities buying in the occupied areas like the Germans and Scandanavians. How about picking on them some time or the Americans for the unabashed support of Turkey. Or, why not be completely non racist and not pick on anyone! Stop referring to it as the "north" it's the occupied areas.

I mean it though... it would be a shame to lose you. Freedom of speech and expression is something we have in CYprus yet Turkey doesn't.
