If you're all under the age of 40 years old, there's a good chance you have only known a divided Cyprus. You have been brainwashed to a lot of negative and horror stories of the other side with a one sided view. You people are part of the problem and will get worse as time goes by creating more brainwashed future generations. I'm sorry to say, Greek Cypriot will create people like GCG_UK at a 4-1 ratio more than the Turkish Cypriots based on the population percentages at 80%-20% respectively. The majority needs to take the leading role as a "Big Brother" to prevent this from happening.

GCG_uk, there are several such propaganda sites on the internet, made by both T/C and G/C individuals, and they all tent to grossly exaggerate so that they victimise the other side to the unawares visiting them. In the same way that those G/Cs posting such anti-Turkish or anti-T/C websites do not represent the feelings of the majority towards the other community, the same holds true vice versa. Therefore, I do not think your above examples are enough evidence to allow you to generalise in such a way and claim that the average ordinary T/C hates the G/Cs, or vice versa. To the contrary, there is plenty of evidence -since the regime in the north opened the gates of the cease fire line between the occupied north and the south, which suggests that the vast majority of ordinary people from both communities have a lot sympathy feelings for each other.

i agree there are proganda sites on the internet but they are mostly Turkish i have never seen a Greek Cypriot site thats proganda can you tell me which one it is and tell me what the proganda is on the greek Cypriots sites because they all seem right to me about what the Turkish invasion and war crimes turkey did.

Also one of the reasons Turkey opened up the gates to the north is not becasue they like us its becasue they want to join the EU and they are deseprate to join the EU and part of there requirements is to allow greek refugees to visit there old homes in the north.

Also a other reason they opened up the border to the north is they are benefiting in Money from allowing the Greeks to visit there old homes the greek cypriots spend money when they go to the north so thats a other reason why they did it when i visited the North part of Cyprus i went to my dads village rizocaparson and i went to apostolos andreas monastry with my dad and there where lots of Turkish market stalls outside the apostolos andreas monastry becasue they knew that lots of greeks go there also something that enraged my dad was that at the monastry my dad wanted to use the toilet at the monastry a Turk told my dad that they charged visitors to use the toilet my dad was angry and told him he would not pay and my dad told him what he thought of him, it upset my dad because he use to work and live at that monastry as young boy and siad it was not the turks monastry they had no right to charge visitors using the toilet so do you see how they want to make us pay to visit our homes that they stole its wrong in my apinion

ask yourself this would the turks have opened up the borders if there was no EU?

Have they opened up the borders because they love us so much or is it so they can make money from our misery of missing our homes? and also for them join the EU which would benefit them a lot?

my family did not harm any turkish Cypriots you LIAR. it was you Turks who cleansed Greeks and not all greeks wanted enosis but thieving turks like yourself mrfronmg decided to use ENOSIS as a excuse for you to try and kill all greeks and to make Cyprus part of Turkey and you turkish Cypriots where also killing Greeks and wanted Cyprus to be a union with Turkey yes there was ENOSIS and there was also TMT but majority of Greeks did not have nothing to do with ENOSIS but you still come like killers and killed thousands of greeks who did not support enosis and raped like the dogs you are

The actions by both sides since 1963 until present have created people like you on both sides. On laws of averages, there are going to be more on the GC's side than the TC's side, that's all. Most of us have managed to get through the pain of what really happened upto and including the intervention / invasion in 1974 and trying to find a solution. The way you express your feelings, all I can gather is you're full of hate as soon as the word "TURK" is mentioned.
