Is reunification possible with this attitude.

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

mrfromng

What do you mean people like me? I dislike Turks am I not intitled?
Can not trust them as far as I can throw one.
Is that wrong too??
Rot here in Australia I dont think so MATE.

Andri How can you put it all behind you.
Someone comes to your house kills familly members throws you out.
You cant do I thing about it. 30 years pass and suddenly everything is a ok.

Greeks and Turks have been enemies since the start of time all will always be. Get used to it.
The only solution is for Greek Cypriots to invade and take back what belongs to them but that will never happen so get used to it.Cyprus will stay dedived and mrfromng you stay there and rot with your Greek &Turkish friends.
All this crap about we are all Cypriots wake up There are TURKS & GREEKS (black and white)

========================================

If the above is typical of all Greeks then please tell me how reunification is possible.

Ok so someone replied this to me and I cant find so I am going to reply here:
I dont know how you were raised but I was raised to forgive. I dont always forget but I forgive. That way I can go forward with my life instead of being trapped in the past and in the gutter. I am not saying it is easy or that it is going to happen in one day but with that kind of attitude it will never happen. There were and are bad people on both sides. TC's suffered losses too we are not the only ones who did. And you have to remember that Turkey is the one who invaded and not the TC's. And the truth is that the GC's working with Junta gave them the chance. We seem to always forget the traitors on our side and blame it all on them. I am not saying that them staying for over 30 years is fair, appropriate or even right. It is unfair and it is not right but we need to stop looking at things only on our perspective. There are 2 sides here.
So maybe we need to open our minds and maybe forget a little nit of our hatred so we can move toward the future. Otherwise we are doomed.

Speaking your mind is not stupid.
Disliking someone that has killed familly members forced you from your land at gun point is not racist.

Hating the person(s) who done this is understandable, hating that persons entire race because of what happened is rascist.

How can you realistically expect to go on with a rascist attitude thats creates hatred and will eventually partition Cyprus permanently.

I agree with this position. A few Turks have committed those atrocities and some others support their crimes. This doesn't mean we have to associate all Turks or Turkish Cypriots with those actions. Many Turkish Cypriots and Turks not only they do not support those actions but on the contrary they support human and democratic rights for all Cypriots without racist discriminations.

This is again a racist approach. Because someone has a negative approach this means that a whole race should be associated with his approach and the whole race should be convicted?
Sorry, but people that are looking for excuses to continue illegalities and crimes against a whole race are even worst than those that they accuse since they perform racist actions not just racist words.
