Cypriot Conspiracy theories

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Balance of power will always be in Turkeys favour.

History shows that your claim is an impossibility.

What maintains Turkey is not her great politicians or great army but that a strong western oriented Turkey serves the interests of the powerful.

If Turkey becomes less obedient and harder to handle then Turkey as we know it today will be over.

Turkey will be nobodies lap-dog. The refusal of US troops to invade Iraq through Turkish soil was a classic example. Turkey is already a handful and a force to be reckoned with. USA is the only power capable of upsetting the balance of power for Turkey and I can't see them rocking the boat in the foreseeable future.

I will tell you why countries like FRance and Germany will never allow Turkey to be a full member of the EU:::

By 2050 Turkey's population will top 100 Million.Bigger than France,Germany,England,Italy etc...That means Turkey will have more votes than those countries in the EU parliament. A full member Turkey in cooperation with countries like England,Poland,Spain and other like minded countries will deliver the EU to the USA on a plate.
(This I suppose is in accordance with the Trojan Horse theory as well).

Can you see France and Germany putting up with this???

The only chance of Turkey getting in the EU is if EU countries want to get in on the 'War on Terror'. Then good ol' Turkey will become the new military power providing front line troops in Iraq,Iran etc.

And what if the EU wants to price away Turkey from the sphere of influence of the USA?
