Hey mate,

Yeah I too think that the Cyprus clubs are boring. Everyone just seems to stand around and make sure that they are looking all savvy.....

Put it this way. You will not find a club here that could be comparable to the states, australia, etc... Apart from the odd club in Napa.

If your into main stream rnb and stuff, then this island is full of those clubs. BUT, if you want to go listen to harder beats, and have a bit of a boogie, then you will need to wait for Ayia Napa to open up again to go enjoy yourself.....

Until then just do what I do, and hibernate in the winter!

Postby hunk23 » Sat Nov 13, 2004 8:19 pm

well cyprus is getting more boring, its definatley not a good place to be in the winter. even Nicosia is not the way it should be. I'ts official cyprus is dead. and sorry about not replying i have been busy. At the moment Im busy with my studies so ill email you once im finished. Ill finish in a week or so. by then well see what happens. But if were planning to go anywhere its gonna be in limmasol. cause everywhere else its dead. There is still life in Limassol

CY in winter

Postby city » Sat Nov 13, 2004 10:58 pm

well, thats right, in the winter its really quiet. There is not much entertainment like clubs, pubs etc open. Only in the non touristic cities like Nicosia, Limassol and Larnaca there are few places to go. Often with greek music only. You can have fun there too, once you get used to the music and the way of life of the people.... But the summer definitely makes up for that calm time in the winter. :-)
I've lived in CY for four years, 1996-2000, now "back home" in Germany.
My suggestion is: use the winter to relax and get power to be able to stand the summer season! ;-)

cheers, city
