In Cyprus mail today there was a small note from Tharros that refugees from the north have built homes on Turkish Cypriot land on the greek part of the island. Land that does not belong to the state or to greeks.
In the wake of the oram's case, does that mean that these people now have to return the land in the original state, compensate the originals owners.....and can the legal owners of the land ask for compensation?
I just wonder
After the Turkish invasion and the ethnic cleansing of 200.000 Greek Cypriots from their own land, the 18% of Turkish Cypriots were illegally in control of the 37% of the land.
The Cyprus government has
temporarily allocated part of the TC land in the free areas to be used by refugees until a solution is found and those refugees are allowed to return to their own homes.
I understand that some immoral crooks like the Orams don't care about our refugees but only on how they can profit on the expense of the human rights violations of other people.
Unfortunately for them, the one and only authority that creates laws on this island is the Republic of Cyprus. They violated the laws and now they have to pay for it. If they didn't like the laws of our country they should have never set their foot here.
Turkey should end her illegal occupation so all people (TCs and GCs) will be able to return to their homes. Those that insist on illegalities and crimes will not be allowed to profit.
Orams and their likes will be punsihed for their immoral criminal acts.
