BUYING a used MINI COOPER

Sell and buy used things, look for a job etc.

Slighty Off topic:

Although the new Mini is a decent car, I still prefer the charm of a original GT or Cooper.

I am looking for a decent example, but they seem to be quite rare over here. Does anyone have any useful info on this topic?

Cheers!

Your best chance will be to export one from London, there are hundreds and even some series one models with the slidey windows and external door handles. I bought a 1968 model in Cypress Green with white roof, needed lots of work though, repaired it and sold it on. If yiou are interested let me know I can find loads of them.

Hi GG,

I'm new on Cyprus and looking for a nice car. I'm a big Mini fan. If you could help me with an old Mini (so not that one from BMW) it would be great. I do not have that much money though. I would like to buy one under 1000 pounds. Is that possible? What are the prices? I had two Mini's before in the Netherlands and I loved them! Being on Cyprus seeing them driving around makes me think back and wanting one again.

Currently I am in Lefcosia.

Cheers,

Steven

Well I am in London so I cant help you however I am sure there are lots of cars for under £1000 in cyprus, but they will probably be japanese. You need to speak to a car dealer about it because they take the cheap cars in as part exchange but they dont put them on the forecourt.

I found some cars under 1000 pounds and most of them are indeed japanese. What would a good old Mini cost on Cyrpus. I was yesterday at a dealer who had a few standing but didn't want to sell them. Where do you find them and what price do you pay?

How much do you ask for the Mini?
