I agree with "brother", your comments are totally unfounded and need more research.

And yes, I am Greek

Agreement all round. Wax, your post was dross from start to finish. I think the major flaws in it can be spotted by your referral to Turkish Cypriot membership of the UN... would you mean EU by any chance? Moreover, your inappropriate usage of commas and capital letters displays a certain problem either in typing or with language in general (by the way 'its' has an apostrophe between the t and s).

In response to your claim that GC's would become 'beggars', I truly wonder what evidence you have to base this upon. It is true that any resolution would most likely require funds to be channeled from south to north, but the gains that are likely to be accrued from this would far outweigh the costs. Think of the costs saved from abolishing universal conscription and the purchase of unnecessary weapons. If this money was channeled into infrastructure and other cross-border ventures, the island would be re-energised, certainly not impoverished.

Think before you type next time. There may be some opinionated people on here, but at least they mostly display an intelligence and thought behind their posts. I suggest you do the same next time.

p.s. Turky is actually Turkey... anyway, enough of this, off to my Greek lesson

What are all these have to do with UN.

I think you are trying to say EU.

Although about possible TC membership of EU, I would be on the same wavelength with you but not for your reasons.
