How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

mrfromng, I do not doubt your honesty. Overall you sound like like a decent person (most of the time ;) ) What is unfortunate is that you buy the propaganda that says that "GCs are evil and therefore their human rights should be violated". Beyond that you are just like every other Cypriot.

I am guessing that when you will be in Cyprus it will be the northern part, so that might be a bit of a problem for the "drinking" part. Still I hope we could have more friendly and respectful discussions in here as well.

Piratis, I never said Greeks are evil. I have many Greek friends in the UK. My one desire in life is to see a just and fair solution to the Cyprus problem. I may post silly things in response to some of the silly stuff posted by my Greek friends but deep inside I have the utmost respect for you guys. I always think of Greeks as my distant cousins. Forgive me if any of my posts upset you.

I would still urge you to make an effort and meet up for a meal or drinks, or even a crazy boys night out.

I see Turkish Cypriots as my close cousins. The fact is that if Turkish Cypriots were in the place of Greek Cypriots they would do what Greek Cypriots are doing and vice versa. We are the same kind of people with just minor differences that were unfortunately exploited to serve the interests of some others.

Let me know when you come and were you will be. I don't promise anything especially a "crazy boys night out" since that is something I am not sure my woman would approve ;)

So you are now implying me terms on what type of solution I should aspire to? Dont you think you are the last person in the world to ask me this?
Just for your information I would gladly discuss with a TC the type of solution I want (and I did so many times) as long as you keep your red British nose out of it.
