Cyprus invasion.

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby Piratis » Thu Mar 30, 2006 10:04 pm

It was not boredom. It was an excuse to execute their plans of occupying Cyprus. Or you will deny that Turkey had claims over Cyprus and that the term "partition" appeared for the first time in 1974?

The Turkish community was whipped into a frenzy by broadcasts from Turkey calling for the partition of Cyprus. Violence between the turks and Cypriots broke out in early June and climaxed when eight Greeks were massacred in a cornfield near the Turkish village of Geunyeli.

You know when was that? If you guessed during the British rule, before the independence of Cyprus, you would be right.

So don't try to hide the plans of Turkey to invade and partition Cyprus. These plans existed long long long before 1974.

Piratis, stop talking rubbish. It's a known fact that Turkey repeatedly asked Greece and the UK as guarantors to intervene and to stop the ethnic cleansing of the Turks. It was as a last resort that it acted and fulfilled its obligation as a guarantor to stop you guys from finishing us off.

mrfromng, the coup was an excuse for Turkey. Nothing more than that.
The ethnic cleansing was done by the Turks and the results can be seen today.

The Turkish invasion had killed 6000 Greek Cypriots and forced 200.000 out of their homes. How many TCs had died in 1974? The some 100s of TCs that died in that year were killed AFTER the invasion had started.

So stop the lame excuses my friend.

turkey always had plans to invade and occupy Cyprus, she found an excuse and it did it.

Piratis, enough rubbish. No need to go on. How about meeting for drinks. I am in Cyprus on the 18th. Fuck the Cyprus issue for now, let's make a night of it. We can have face to face, you can get it all off your chest and the same for me. What do you say?

I don't think the Cyprus problem is rubbish.

I wouldn't have a problem at all to meet with Turkish Cypriot compatriot. Some years ago I even had friends from Turkey itself. But certainly I wouldn't want to meet for drinks with people like balaka and those that are trying to gain by exploiting the problems of our country.

Piratis, you misunderstood. Of couse the Cypro is not rubbish. I meant enough rubbish from us, you and me.

Seriously, why not get together, Bakala or not, you should be tolerant. If Bakala was there too you could at least look him in the eyes and tell him exactly how you feel about the land situation in Cyprus.

Honestly I am being 100% genuine. lets get together for a couple of drinks. It's my treat.
